A missing person was found in Amarillo this morning.
Around midnight, authorities announced that 79-year-old George Roy was returned to his family after being reported as missing for several hours. Roy, who has dementia, was last seen early on Wednesday evening, walking in the 1500 block of Smiley.
Roy was found shortly after his description was released to the public.
