The boxing rematch between middleweight superstars Saul "Canelo" Alvarez and Gennady "GGG" Golovkin will appear on the big screen in Amarillo next month.
On Saturday, September 15th, the long-anticipate rematch between Alvarez and Golovkin will appear on screen at the UA Amarillo Star theater in Amarillo. The pay-per-view boxing match will be shown live at the theater, as the fight is taking place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Alvarez (49-1-2) and Golovkin (38-0-1) fought to a draw on September 16, 2017 during a pay-per-view fight card. While the fight for the unified middleweight titles drew praise from the sports community, a scorecard turned in by one judge drew media criticism and fans immediately began calling for a rematch.
