"The new and improved Play Zone located at Gene Howe Park will officially open on Friday, June 15. A grand opening celebration is planned from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. (noon) and the entire community is invited to attend to enjoy the music, hot dogs, snow cones, and fun!
The new Play Zone is located north of 15th Avenue and is between Mirror Street and Martin Road. Improvements include new site amenities like play equipment and a splash pad.
