Public Health Offers Mobile Clinic This Week

The City of Amarillo Public Health Department will offer immunizations and HIV testing at their mobile clinic this week.

On Thursday, May 3rd, from 2pm until 4:30pm, a mobile clinic will be offered at 7421 W. 34th Avenue in Amarillo. While supplies last, vaccines available will include Zoster (shingles), Pneumococcal (pneumonia), MMR (measles, mumps, and rubella), Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria, and whooping cough), Varicella (chickenpox), Flu, Td (tetanus and diphtheria), HPV (human papillomavirus), Meningitis, Hepatitis A and B, and Twinrix (Hep A/B combo).

In addition, HIV and syphilis testing will be offered, with results available the same day as the test.

No appointment is necessary to participate. Adults with Medicaid, no insurance, or who are underinsured are eligible to participate. Immunizations will be available at $10 each, but no client will be turned away for inability to pay. If available, please bring your current immunization record.
