City Considering Approval of Signage for Parking Garage Space

The Amarillo Local Government Corporation Board of Directors is considering signing off on signage for a portion of the downtown parking garage.

On Wednesday morning, the LGC will consider approving an order for temporary signage for retail space in the downtown parking garage. The downtown parking garage, which will be located across the street from the downtown baseball park, includes retail space, primarily along its eastern wall. The item will be discussed, along with parking garage financials.

Board members will also consider approving a waiver for parking garage fees related to the February 1st ceremonial groundbreaking at the downtown baseball stadium. The general manager of the Panhandle Baseball Club is also expected to give a report. If the general manager is not in attendance, the report may be given by staff.

The meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 18th in Room 306 of Amarillo City Hall (509 Southeast 7th Avenue). The meeting will begin 11:30am.
