This weekend, one local movie theater is planning to show the classic 1990's music film, "Selena."

On Saturday, March 31st, the Premiere Cinema Westgate Mall movie theater will host two showings of "Selena." Sponsored by Westgate Mall and Wild 104.3 FM, the film is being screened to honor musician Selena Quintanilla-Pérez on the 23rd anniversary of her death.

"Selena" is a 1997 film, directed by Gregory Nava and starring Jennifer Lopez in her breakout role as the namesake character in the film.
