Amarillo Native Hits Country Airwaves with New Single

Aaron Watson, an Amarillo native country star, has hit country airwaves this week with a brand new single from his latest album, Vaquero.

Last week, Watson released a new single, "Run Wild Horses," on country radio. Within a week, the song has already hit the Billboard Country Airplay chart, logging in at number 60, behind singles from Casey Donahew, the James Baker Band and Kid Rock. Scott McCreery's "Five More Minutes" is currently leading the chart, holding off Thomas Rhett's "Marry Me" and Chris Stapleton's "Broken Halos."

The release of the new single comes following the departure of Watson's last big hit, "Outta Style" from the Country Airplay Chart. The single topped out at number ten on the chart.
