PAC Supporting Price is Completely Corporately Funded

A political action committee that issued a mailer last week opposing local State Legislative candidate Drew Brassfield and supporting incumbent Four Price is completely funded by corporations, campaign finance reports show.

In reports from the Texas Ethics Commission, the Texans Caring for Seniors PAC reported to be completely funded by corporations during the most recent reporting period. During the period ending on December 31st, the group reporting pulling in $87,280.20, which completely came from corporations. The group also reported unitemized spending of $10.

The group hit mailboxes of District 87 voters last Friday with a mailer reading "Why is Drew Brassfield Trying to Scare Your Grandma?" The flyer went on to discuss the so-called "granny tax" and stated several legislative actions by Price.

Voters were then told "Don't Buy the False Attacks on Four Price."

The Austin-based PAC has only filed one campaign finance report. As of this article's writing, no information currently exists to suggest that the PAC has any non-corporate donors.
