Members of a local VFW post will host a commemoration this weekend.
On Friday, November 9th, a commemoration will be held at the VFW Post 1475 in Amarillo. The commemoration will honor veterans and remember the end of World War I, which occurred 100 years ago, this year.
Entertainment will be provided by the Fwoops and DJ Bert. A cash bar, dancing, and appetizers will be available. Attendance is $20 per person of $150 for a reserved table.
