Over 3,500 Cast Ballots on Monday

It was a busy day at the polls on Monday, as around 3,500 voters cast ballots in both counties.

According to early voting numbers out of Potter County, 1,057 voters cast ballots in-person on Monday, bringing the total to about 11,285 votes cast so far in Potter County. The voting numbers were boosted by a campaign march that took place on Monday, in which Potter County voters supporting Democrat Beto O’Rourke’s bid for the U.S. Senate marched to the Santa Fe Building in downtown Amarillo to vote.

In Randall County, turnout continued at a high pace. Officials say 2,522 votes were cast in Randall County on Monday, bringing the overall vote total to 25,736 votes cast so far in Randall.

Early voting will run through November 2nd. Election Day is November 6th.
