Majority of Local GOP Contenders to Attend Tea Party Forum

A majority of those running on the Republican Party's ticket in 2018 will be in attendance at the Amarillo Tea Party forum on Tuesday.

On Tuesday, January 16th, Amarillo voters will have the chance to hear from those seeking various offices during a Tea Party forum. The Tea Party's annual forum will feature candidates running up and down the ballot as they compete for votes in the crowded March 6th primary.

Among the candidates attending will be: Kel Seliger, Mike Canon, Drew Brassfield, Four Price, Marcus Norris, Steven Denny, Kerry Haney, Len Walker, Walt Weaver, Jerry Morales, Wade Overstreet, Matthew Hand, Carley Snider, Crystal Flores, Rich Herman, Robert Taylor, James Abbott, Matt Martindale, Stewart Werner, Jami Love, Marie McNutt, Susan Allen and Tam Boatler.

Realtor Jon Moffett is serving as the evening's moderator.

The forum will begin at 7pm on Tuesday, January 16th, at the First Family Church in Amarillo (6101 Bell St).
