Raef to Serve as Campaign Treasurer for Leal

Victor Leal announced today that Joshua Raef will serve as his campaign treasurer for his upcoming bid for Texas Senate.

Leal, a Republican, announced Raef as his campaign treasurer, this morning. Leal announced the appointment of Raef, writing, "This guy knows a thing or two about customer service."

Raef is a local restaurant franchisee who owns the Georgia Street location of Chick-Fil-A. Raef also was a finalist for a vacant spot on the Amarillo Economic Development Corporation earlier this year.

Leal is facing incumbent Senator Kel Seliger and former Midland Mayor Mike Canon in the race for the Republican nomination for state senator. Ken Kelley is serving as Seliger's treasurer, while Lee Bell Ulvestad is serving as Canon's treasurer.
