Local attorney James Abbott is running for the Randall County Court at Law No. 2 position, according to information posted to Facebook.
Abbott announced his campaign on Friday, posting his logo for his campaign for the bench currently held by Judge Ronnie Walker. Abbott, of the Abbott Law Office, is the second candidate to announce his candidacy for the bench. Stewart Werner announced his candidacy last week.
Abbott is seeking the office as a member of the Republican Party.
It is not yet clear whether Judge Walker, the incumbent, has plans to seek re-election.
