The Potter County Sheriff's Office is reporting that an inmate held by Courthouse security attempted to commit suicide today.
In a statement, the Sheriff's Office reported that at 11:20am, an inmate held by Potter County Courthouse security attempted to commit suicide. The Sheriff's Office was informed of the situation and medical treatment was administered by Sheriff's staff.
The injured person was transported by ambulance to an area hospital for further treatment.
