Rick Husband International Airport is now featuring TSA Pre-Check for expedited screening.
According to the City of Amarillo, a temporary enrollment center will be located from August 14th until August 18th at the airport. Various enrollment times will be available between 7am and 7pm.
TSA Pre-Check "is an expedited screening program that enables identified low-risk air travelers to enjoy a smart and more efficient screening experience," according to the City of Amarillo. The process allows travelers to go through screening without removing shoes, 3-1-1 liquids, laptops, light outerwear, or belts. More than 180 airports and 30 airlines already participate in the program.
To start the enrollment process, interested air travelers should go to www.identogo.com/tsa-precheck. Travelers should select Rick Husband International Airport as their location.
