John Wayne fans can celebrate Fathers Day in style when the Duke appears on the big screen.
Cinemark Hollywood 16 (9100 Canyon Drive) will be showing the John Wayne classic "El Dorado" on Sunday. The showing occurs at 2pm. There will also be two showings on Wednesday, June 21st at 2pm and 7pm.
"El Dorado" was originally released on June 7, 1967 and stars John Wayne, Robert Mitchum and James Caan. The films revolves around Cole Thornton, a gunfighter for hire, who joins forces with his old friend, Sheriff J.P. Hara. Along with an old Indian fighter and a gambler, they help a rancher and his family fight a rival that is trying to steal their water.
