Found Child's Family Located by APD

A found child's family has been located by Amarillo Police.

APD issued a release around 3pm on Tuesday, showing photographs of a child that was found in the 4300 block of South Aldredge. A citizen from the neighborhood found an Asian male that appeared to be about 2 or 3-years-old walking in the neighborhood. The child was wearing a blue, white, and grey shirt with grey shorts.

After officers' attempts to go door-to-door to locate the child proved to be unsuccessful, APD issued a statement asking for the public's help in locating the child's family.

At about 6pm, APD announced that it had found the child's family. The Amarillo Police Department also thanked everyone who shared the child's photo and helped reunite him with his family.
