"On May 16th at 9:17 PM, APD officers were dispatched to the 1300 block of South Washington Street on a vehicle accident.
A 2006 white Dodge Ram pickup driven by Austin Anderson McDonald, a 33 year old male, was traveling south bound on Washington and crossed into the north bound lanes before striking a utility pole by a residence. The accident caused the pole to fall onto the truck. McDonald backed up causing the pole to fall into the street. He then drovea short distance on Washington and struck a tree. The pole fell across the north bound lanes ofWashington Street causing a motorcycle to hit the pole.
Two passengers on the motorcycle were transported to a local area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
McDonald was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries. He was then arrested and booked into the Potter County Detention Center for Driving While Intoxicated."
