City Council to Consider Issuance of Bonds

The Amarillo City Council will consider the issuance of general obligation bonds, during their meeting on Tuesday night.

The City Council will consider the issuance and sale of "City of Amarillo, Texas, General Obligation Bonds, Series 2017" and the adoption of an ordinance that authorizes the issuance of such bonds. The total of bonds that the Council will consider approving on Tuesday night will total $21,920,000.

The City Council will also consider the issuance and sale of "City of Amarillo, Texas, Waterworks and Sewer System Revenue Bonds, New Series 2017" during their meeting. The total on these bonds will amount to $33,090,000.

Also on the agenda will be agreements between Rick Husband Airport and United Airlinesand an interlocal cooperation agreement between the Amarillo LGC and the City of Amarillo for downtown street reconstruction.

The Amarillo City Council will hold its meeting on Tuesday, March 11th in the City Council Chambers of City Hall (509 SE 7th Ave.)

The meeting will begin at 5pm.
