State Representatives Four Price and John Smithee voted in favor of a water bill, today.
The bill, written by State Representative Tom Craddick (R-Midland), relates to the development of and contracting for reclaimed water facilities in certain municipalities. The bill had received bi-partisan support.
The Texas House of Representatives voted to approve the bill in a unanimous vote, 145-0. One representative voted present and another was absent from the bill's vote.
Also in House proceedings, today, Texas House members also adopted resolutions recognizing March 22, 2017 as Texas Energy Day, Celebrating Texas SBDC Day and Brewster County Day at the State Capitol.
