Josh Hamilton, the returning Texas Rangers star, underwent knee surgery today.
Hamilton, who is returning to the Texas Rangers' roster, will not be on the opening day roster due to the surgery. The Fort Worth Star Telegram is reporting that Hamilton will need at least six weeks to recover from the surgery.
According to the Telegram, Dr. Walt Lowe said that the rehab window he recommended will take Hamilton past the April 3rd opening day.
