Seliger to Host Amarillo Dinner

State Senator Kel Seliger will be visiting Amarillo as part of his "Governor for a Day Tour".

Residents of Amarillo are invited to meet with "Governor" Seliger at a dinner to be held at Youngblood's Cafe, in downtown Amarillo. The dinner is part of Seliger's one-day tour, which includes stops in Big Spring, Midland, Odessa, and Amarillo.

The dinner is scheduled to last from 5:30pm until 8:00pm, on Friday. The dinner is listed as "come and go" for those attending.

A statement from Kel Seliger regarding the tour says, "While most 'Governor for a Day' celebrations are spent in Austin, I'll be in Texas Senate District 31 with friends, family and constituents. I want to be with the people who put me in office. I hope you'll join me as I travel across the Permian Basin and the Panhandle on Friday, February 24th. All events are free and open to the public."

According to an online invitation, the events appear to be paid for by the Kel Seliger Campaign.

Youngblood's Cafe is located at 620 SW 16th Avenue.
