Festivus Amarillo 2017: Your Grievances Listed

Happy Festivus, Amarillo! We asked you to give us your best grievances and you did not disappoint. We got plenty of grievances on plenty of subjects (especially traffic). Today, we list some of your your best grievances because it's a Festivus miracle!

"Amarillo Matters" - Jerri

"Bad road construction" - Joseph

"TxDOT and City of Amarillo apparently don't communicate when it comes to road construction. The City will pick a day to resurface a major artery when TxDOT is closing off a portion of the freeway diverting traffic to that artery. In addition, TxDOT starts projects before it finishes ones in progress compounding the dysfunction." -Mike

"The trash pickup thing the City of Amarillo wants us to do. Like seriously...who came up with this crap?" - Jared

"Alleys" - Diane

"Colleges sell us books at $200 each and then they want to give us pennies on the dollar for the books during the buyback." - Cody

"Does nobody in this city realize that when the light turns green we are supposed to go? Seriously. These drivers need to go back to the DMV." - Roger

"Dishonest lawyers. You know who you are" - Blaine

"Chain letters on Facebook. I don't want to forward the stupid message to ten of my friends. Quit asking me to do that or I will block you." - Chandler

"Social climbers" - Michelle

"The term MPEV. It's just a baseball field. Call it what it is." - Jon

"Irresponsible pet owners." - Tommy

"Ex politicians who still think we care." - David

"The junkyards on Grand Street" - Rodney

"Porch pirates" - Sal

"Taxes" - Jamie
