Moving Forward with Mayoral Bid, Robertson Launches Site

Parker Robertson, the 21-year-old potential mayoral candidate, has launched a site to boost his potential campaign.

As we reported earlier this week, Robertson, 21, told the Amarillo Pioneer in an exclusive interview that he is currently testing the waters for a bid to challenge Mayor Ginger Nelson in 2019. Robertson said that he has informed Mayor Nelson of his intent to challenge her and has now launched a Facebook site to help boost his potential campaign.

Parker Q. Robertson for Amarillo was launched today and features photos of the 21-year-old construction worker. Robertson says that the page will be developed more over the coming weeks to allow residents to learn more about him in the event he does decide to challenge Nelson.

"It’s gonna be a fun, entertaining way to keep up with your favorite construction-working future mayor," Robertson said.

Earlier this week, Robertson said that he is "90 percent" sure that he will move forward with his bid for mayor in 2019.
