City of Amarillo Changes Website

Those logging onto the City of Amarillo's official website (amarillo.gov) will notice a change beginning today.

The City's website has officially been changed over from its previous format. The change was been in the works since 2016, when the previous Amarillo City Council set the wheels in motion in creating infrastructure for a new website.

Amarillo's new website features a grey background with a blue banner at the top of the page. The City of Amarillo logo is followed by a series of options: "Services," "Our City," "Departments," "City Hall," and "How Do I..."

Events at the Amarillo Civic Center are also now listed on the events tab of the website, in addition to public meetings of City boards.

An option is also now available to translate the website into various languages, courtesy of Google Translate.
