600 Voters Turnout For First Day of Early Voting

About six-hundred votes were cast in Potter and Randall counties during the first day of early voting in Amarillo.

On the first day of early voting for the November 7th Texas Constitution and Amarillo Independent School District elections, about 600 voters cast ballots. 484 voters cast early ballots on Monday in Randall County, while 122 voters cast early ballots in Potter County.

Most Randall County voters cast early ballots at the Randall County Annex, according to election results. 111 voters cast ballots at the Annex, while 53 votes were cast at the Region 16 Education Support Center. Every other early voting location in Randall County registered less than 30 voters.

For Potter County, the Santa Fe Building in downtown Amarillo was the favorite location. 64 voters cast ballots at the Santa Fe Building, while 20 voters cast ballots at the United Amigos location. Each other location registered less than 15 votes.

Voters have until November 3rd to cast an early ballot. Election day is on November 7th.
