Four Charged in Sexual Assault, Trafficking Case in Randall County

Four suspects have been charged in a case involving human trafficking and sexual assault in Randall County.

According to the Randall County Sheriff's Office, officers received a call Thursday night about a woman attempting to break into a mobile home at 1903 Greg Street. When officers arrived, they found a woman, later identified as Jessica Valverde, attempting to break out windows.

Soon after, officers received a dispatch call from Northwest Texas Hospital Emergency Room regarding a 33-year-old female who had been sexually assaulted and held against her will. It was determined that the sexual assault was related to the break-in on Greg Street.

Randall County authorities say that investigators determined that the victim was sexually assaulted at the home.

Four suspects, including Valverde, had reportedly dropped off the victim at the hospital, before returning to the Greg Street address.

Paul Teague, 42, Jessica Valverde, 31, Casey Malin, 27, and Timothy Rivas, 22, were all arrested by Randall County authorities. All four suspects are charged with seven counts of sexual assault and one count of human trafficking. Teague and Rivas have also been charged with one count of kidnapping and Valverde was found to have a Colorado warrant for motor vehicle theft. All four suspects were booked into the Randall County jail.

Authorities are still investigating.
