Amarillo residents had an opportunity to meet the new Amarillo Economic Development Corporation president, tonight.
The AEDC has announced a meet and greet with Barry Albrecht, the new AEDC president. The meet and greet, which was slated from 5pm to 6pm, allowed local residents to get to know the man that will now be leading the AEDC.
AEDC officials say that Albrecht brings over 20 years of economic development experience to his new role. Albrecht most recently was involved with Lawton-Fort Sill, in Oklahoma.
The event was held in the Heritage Room of the Amarillo Civic Center.
