Combs Considered for Role in Trump Administration

The Texas Tribune reports that former Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts, Susan Combs, is in the running to become the next U.S. Secretary of Agriculture.

Combs, who served as Texas Agriculture Secretary, from 1999 to 2007, is a new name in the appointment's speculation. Incumbent Texas Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller has also been floated as a potential candidate for the appointment.
