Why did you decide to run for this office in 2026?

I want to serve in the U.S. Senate because Texans deserve a senator who understands the world we’re living in right now. The weight of the decisions being made in Washington, DC, today will affect our children and grandchildren for generations to come. For too long, Senator Cornyn has failed to meet that moment. Washington has become too comfortable, too disconnected, and too slow to respond to the real challenges facing Texas families. And the truth is, the Senate has begun to look more like a retirement home than the leadership body it’s supposed to be.

My generation has spent the last two decades serving in combat, leading teams, making life-and-death decisions, and defending this country in the most direct way possible. I have been on the front lines of the new generation of conservative leaders for a while now, and I believe that experience matters. I believe that those who have worn the uniform and faced real-world consequences bring a perspective that Washington sorely lacks.

I’m running because it’s time for a new generation, especially those who’ve fought and bled for this nation, to take responsibility for its future. Not out of ambition, but out of duty. Texas needs a Senator who knows what it means to put service before self, who understands the stakes, and who isn’t afraid to challenge the status quo when it fails to represent the people we’re supposed to serve.

I’m stepping forward because I genuinely believe we can do better for Texas, and I’m prepared to fight for that.

If elected, what will be your top three priorities in office?

1. Border Security and Immigration Enforcement: This is an issue that Texas knows all too well, but the federal government is not taking it seriously enough. Texas’ border security is national security, and I will continue to raise awareness and work with other legislators to stop the invasion at our southern border and undo the disastrous policies that allowed 20 million illegal immigrants to enter our country during the Biden administration.

2. Fiscal Responsibility: Washington’s out-of-control spending is mortgaging our children’s future. The single greatest threat facing America today is our national debt. We must eliminate waste, curb reckless spending, and compel the federal government to live within its means, so we can secure economic prosperity for all Texans and maintain our nation's strength. Doing so will lower inflation, raise wages, and bring prosperity to Texas

3. Texas Values - I have always defended Texas values and the American family against the woke agenda being pushed from Washington, DC. I fought against Biden’s DEI initiatives, and I will always stand with parents, protect our children, and fight back against efforts to erase our history, weaken faith, and undermine the values that built this country. Texas families deserve a Senator who will unapologetically stand on the side of life, law and order, faith, and freedom. I will never back down from that fight.

What is an issue you believe has gone overlooked in your race and how will you address it if elected?

An often-overlooked aspect in this race is the crucial role of Texas’s farmers, ranchers, and agricultural leaders. We require a Senator who not only discusses these issues but also takes action to support Texas. As a Congressman, I urged the Trump Administration and Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins to safeguard Texas’s livestock from the New World screwworm and supported funding to establish sterile fly dispersal facilities in South Texas. We need an unapologetic Senator willing to defend our Texas farmers and ranchers.

Why are you the best candidate for voters to support for this position?

I have a proven record of leadership and service. When you are flying combat missions in the Army, failure is not an option. That has been my mindset since my West Point days, and it’s a mindset that Washington, DC, desperately needs more of. In Congress, I have worked hand-in-hand with President Trump to deliver for Texans by bringing down our energy prices and strengthening local law enforcement to reduce crime.

Both of my opponents have been elected officials in Texas for over twenty years. I’ve been a politician for three years. I am not a career politician, and I am tired of everyday Texans being forgotten about while their representation in DC personally enriches themselves and treats Congress like a retirement community.

We need a fighter for Texas, and that’s exactly what I’ll do if you lend me your vote.
