Why did you decide to run for this office in 2026?

Serving the people of Texas’ Thirteenth Congressional District in Congress has been one of the greatest honors of my life. In 2024, the American people sent a clear message by reelecting the greatest President of our lifetime, President Donald J. Trump, and his presidency is already delivering historic results. But our work is far from finished. After four years of failed Biden policies, I am committed to finishing the job we started and getting our country back on track with strong leadership, common sense, and America First priorities.

If elected, what will be your top three priorities in office?

My top three priorities will be:
1. I will continue working closely with President Trump to deliver a more prosperous future for our country. As his former Chief Medical Officer, I had the privilege of serving alongside him and seeing his vision for America firsthand. I look forward to advancing that vision and remaining one of President Trump’s strongest and closest allies in Congress.

2. I am committed to a strong national defense and to supporting the vital work being done at Sheppard AFB, Pantex, Bell Helicopter, and numerous other defense stakeholders in Texas Thirteen, where innovation, readiness, and American strength are on full display.

3. I remain steadfast in supporting Texas agriculture and standing with the hardworking farmers and ranchers of Texas’ Thirteenth Congressional District, the number one agriculture district in the state.

As a member of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, Armed Services, Agriculture, and Foreign Affairs Committees, I am in a strong position to keep TX-13 front and center in national agriculture and defense policy. Serving on four committees does require more time in Washington than I would prefer, but it also gives me the ability to fight every day to make sure our district’s voice is heard and our priorities are protected.

What is an issue you believe has gone overlooked in your race and how will you address it if elected?

One issue that I would like to highlight is affordability for American families. Our country faced historic inflation under Joe Biden, but thanks to President Trump’s bold leadership, we are finally seeing the benefits of having a leader like him back in charge. If re-elected, I will continue working to lower energy costs, implement the historic tax cuts House Republicans delivered through One Big Beautiful Bill, and fix the disastrous economy that Joe Biden and the Democrats left us with. We’ve made unprecedented progress, but we know there is still more work to do to make life truly affordable for every American.

Governor Abbott

Why are you the best candidate for voters to support for this position?

I am the strongest candidate for this position based on my record of service to our country and the results I have delivered over the past 5 years.

Since taking office, I have proven to be an effective, results-driven legislator who delivers for our district. In the Fiscal Year 2026 NDAA, I secured a provision to accelerate the fielding of the MV 75 Future Long Range Assault Aircraft, helping stabilize and retain the highly specialized workforce and industrial base at Bell’s Amarillo facility. In the One Big Beautiful Bill, I fought to include a provision ensuring livestock producers impacted by the 2024 Panhandle wildfires receive the support they need to rebuild their herds. I also had a key piece of legislation signed into law to protect critical American technologies from falling into the hands of our foreign adversaries. Throughout my time in Congress, I have been a steadfast defender of the Second Amendment and a strong voice for the unborn, values that matter deeply to our district.

These accomplishments, combined with my leadership experience as a Rear Admiral in the United States Navy, demonstrates a proven record of service, results, and dedication, qualities that uniquely position me to serve the people of Texas’ Thirteenth District in Congress.
