Why did you decide to run for this office in 2026?

We saw incredible victories for the Panhandle this past session and we are only getting started. Legislation to protect children, lower taxes, help small businesses and support our schools. After the most conservative legislative session the state of Texas has had, I look forward to continuing to fight for the values we hold dear in the Panhandle – faith, family, and freedom.

If elected, what will be your top three priorities in office?

Affordability & Opportunity - Cutting property taxes and business taxes, fighting back against rising costs, and making homeownership achievable so families can stay, grow, and succeed in the Panhandle.

Protecting Kids & Digital Safety - Keeping children safe at home, in the classroom, and online by holding bad actors accountable, strengthening parental rights, and making sure technology serves families—not exploits them.

Supporting Small Businesses & Growing Jobs - Small businesses keep our community thriving, It is a top priority of mine to continue supporting legislation to support small businesses and bring jobs to the Panhandle.

What is your position on taxpayer-funded lobbying? Please explain.

At the end of the day, I want my constituents to come directly to me to understand what is happening in Austin and how it affects the Panhandle. If I hear something at the Capitol that impacts our communities, I believe you should hear it too. Transparency and communication are essential if we’re going to work together to build a stronger Panhandle.

That work doesn’t require taxpayer dollars going to lobbyists. At the end of the day, no one will fight harder for my constituents than the person you elected to represent you—not special interests with their own agendas, but a representative accountable to the people back home.

How should the legislature go about delivering further property tax relief? Please explain.

I’ve heard from my constituents who feel they have not received real property tax relief—and they’re right. There is more work to be done.

Next session, I will fight for solutions that deliver real, meaningful reductions in property tax bills. That means every option should be on the table. What I can commit to is this: I will fight for the best property tax plan that benefits all my constituents. Texans deserve meaningful tax relief, and next session we can and must do more.

What is an issue you believe has gone overlooked in your race and how will you address it if elected?

As I prepare legislation for the 90th session, one topic I see as a persistent issue for folks in our state is affordability - whether this means affordable housing, property tax relief, or healthcare. It is becoming more and more expensive to live in Texas. Making our state more affordable means better paying jobs, better medical care, and not being taxed out of our homes. I will be looking at legislation that ensures everyday Texans can afford to keep calling HB 87 home.

Do you have any notable endorsements you would like to highlight for voters? If this question is not applicable, please write N/A.

I am proud to have endorsements from President Donald Trump, Governor Greg Abbott, and Senator Ted Cruz.

Why are you the best candidate for voters to support for this position?

My conservative values squarely reflect those of Panhandle families. I am proud of the meaningful victories we have achieved for our community, and I am grateful that my constituents have recognized those results. Serving them is an honor I take seriously.
