Why did you decide to run for this office in 2026?
We are in a battle for the soul of our state and nation. The primary arena in which we fight the dark forces of the Left is the justice system. We need battle-tested fighters to lead legal troops into legal combat to deliver victories for Texas. That's why Paxton endorsed me to succeed him as AG and why President Trump called me a "true MAGA attorney" and "warrior for our Constitution" when he brought me to the senior ranks of his Justice Department.
If elected, what will be your top three priorities in office?
My priorities fall under the umbrella of advancing the America First Law & Order Agenda in Texas: Deporting millions of illegal aliens, eradicating wokeism and leftism everywhere it's found, and repelling the infiltration of radical, militant Muslims who are seeking to destroy Western Civilization.
What is an issue you believe has gone overlooked in your race and how will you address it if elected?
The issue that has been overlooked is literally what the Attorney General does. Under Article IV, Section 22 of Texas Constitution, "The Attorney General shall represent the State in all suits and pleas." This is a legal, law-enforcement, executive-branch job, not a legislative post. It's essential, therefore, for Texans to hire a battle-tested LAWYER, with a proven LEGAL record fighting for Texans, rather than a legislator who has spent years playing a different sport altogether.
Do you have any notable endorsements you would like to highlight for voters? If this question is not applicable, please write N/A.
Yes: Attorney General Ken Paxton has endorsed me to succeed him.
Why are you the best candidate for voters to support for this position?
I'm the only candidate with a proven record litigating, investigating, suing, defending, and appealing on all the major issues Texans care about. As AG Paxton said when he endorsed me: I "drove our Texas v. Biden docket and spearheaded some of our most consequential battles—on border security, immigration, Big Tech, Covid tyranny, energy and the environment, pro-life, Second Amendment, religious liberty, free speech, and election integrity. Aaron Reitz is the only candidate who is fully vetted, battle-tested, proven, and ready to be Attorney General." It's this same reason why Trump nominated me (and the Senate confirmed me) to serve in the senior executive ranks as the justice department. Texans need a "true MAGA attorney" and "warrior for our Constitution" as the next Chief Legal Officer of Texas. That's me.
