Question: What is your educational background?

Answer: BA, Classical Studies, Rice University, 1984

Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) and Solutions Developer (MCSD)

Q: What is your occupation?

A: Instructional Design Consultant

Q: What is your age:

A: 57

Q: If your campaign has any online campaign resources where voters can learn more about you, such as social media accounts or a website, please list them below.

A: https://dbcgreentx.net

https://twitter.com/dbcgreentx

https://facebook.com/dbc4senator2020

Q: Why did you decide to run for this office in 2020?

A: The primary reason is that the Green Party needs to win 2% of the vote in a statewide race in order to retain access to the Texas ballot, and of all the statewide races I felt most qualified for the very generalist position of US Senator. As a Senator, one can be effective knowing a little about a lot, with staff and expert witnesses to provide the deeper knowledge.

Q: If elected, what will be your top three priorities in office?

A: 1. An Eco-Socialist Green New Deal as formulated by Green presidential nominee Howie Hawkins, not the Democrats' watered-down version.

2. Improved Medicare for All, including a Marshall Plan–style approach to mental health care.

3. Ending US military involvements, including proxy wars like the one in Yemen, as quickly and safely as possible.

Q: Why are you the best candidate for voters to support for this position in 2020?

A: I am the only candidate in this race running on a platform that will save civilization and the natural world by moving swiftly to thwart climate disruption. 2050 is too late—we need to convert our whole energy economy to renewable sources by 2030.
