Saturday will be a day to celebrate lions at the Amarillo Zoo.
According to information released this week, World Lion Day will be celebrated on Saturday, August 11th at the Amarillo Zoo. Festivities for World Lion Day will include information about lions, zookeeper chats, lion enrichment activities at 10:30am, lion selfies, face painting, conservation activities and other fun games. All festivities are included with the standard admission price.
The event will run from 9:30am through 3pm.
