The Randall County Sheriff's Office is reporting that authorities recovered stolen items during a warrant execution on Monday.
According to the Sheriff's Office, authorities executed a narcotics search warrant at the Colonial Jamestown Apartments (3110 SW 27th Avenue) on August 6th. In apartment 136, authorities reportedly found narcotics, stolen firearms, jewelry and other stolen property. Authorities believe recovered were involved in at least seven burglaries in Amarillo, Canyon and Lubbock, in which U-Haul trailers were stolen or broken into.
Two trailers were also recovered at the apartment complex. The trailers were reported stolen out of Pampa and Amarillo.
Richard Patterson, 39, was arrested and booked into the Potter County Jail. Patterson was charged with Fraudulent Use/Possession of Identifying Information, Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Possession of Stolen Property, Over $2,500/Under $10,000 and Possession of Controlled Substance, Penalty Group 1.
Randall County was assisted by units from the Amarillo Police Department’s SWAT team and patrol units, the Panhandle Auto Burglary and Theft Unit and the Canyon Police Department.
