The Amarillo Police Department needs your help finding two suspects who are believed to be involved in a food truck robbery.
According to APD, officers were dispatched at 12:12am on March 12th to the 1500 block of Lockney on the report of an armed robbery. Officers found a food truck at this location with a male tied up inside. The victim had been returning the truck to a restaurant in the 1800 block of Bell Avenue at 11:40pm when he was met by two males with guns. The suspects tied up the victim and drove the truck to an alley on Lockney. The suspects fired a shot at the safe in the truck but were unable to get it open.
Officials say the suspects took an undisclosed amount of money from the victim and left the scene on foot. The suspects had hoods over their heads and masks over their faces during the robbery. The victim was not injured.
