Pak-A-Sak Fire Causes $700k in Damage

A fire at an Amarillo Pak-A-Sak location caused $700,000 in damage on Monday morning.

According to the Amarillo Fire Department, crews were dispatched to 6320 South Bell early Monday morning on the report of a structure fire. When units arrived around 4am, they found heavy smoke and fire showing inside of the building. Crews made entry into the structure and encountered difficult conditions, as the fire had spread to other parts of the building.

The fire was called under control about an hour after crews arrived. The Amarillo Fire Marshal has ruled the cause of the fire as undetermined and damages are estimated at $700,000.
